For it was my home
often dreamed when I am alone
to walk amongst the road unknown
where reasons find time who owns
the stars, the sky, and all the gold
for we wade in shallows fearing the depths
for most our life’s we dismiss our deaths
we drink our peace in all its way
we torment our minds another day
we bend our peace and reap the hay
to feed the life of all our hate
to speak a name in all it way
escapes our mouths and fall’s astray
for we are
but not enough.
